Setup of Optional PCI Card
Important To enable the fault-tolerant feature of the optional device, the identical PCI cards
must be installed to the slots with the same number in CPU/IO module 0 and CPU/IO
module 1.
For the supported optional devices, contact your sales agent.

N8804-009 1000BASE-T 2ch board set, N8804-011 10GBASE-T 1ch board set
Important To use this board, use a LAN cable having RJ-45 connector which is compliant with
IEC8877 standard. If any other connector is used, it may not be removed easily.

Driver installation procedure
Install N8804-009 1000BASE-T 2ch board set or N8804-011 10GBASE-T 1ch board set, and restart the
system.
After starting the system, the driver will be installed automatically.

Driver installation procedure
Install N8803-038 Fibre Channel board and start the system.
After starting the system, the driver will be installed automatically.
Important
•
StoragePathSavior is necessary to connect NEC iStorage using N8803-038 Fiber
Channel boards.
•
Mount N8803-038 Fibre Channel boards after completing the OS installation.
They are used in a pair. Mount each controller on the slot of the same position of
each PCI module.
