NEC SuperScript 1260 User’s Guide

Chapter 1: Setting Up the Printer

Major parts seen when the Top Cover is open

1. Fuser Warning Label

Posted on the top of the fuser. The fuser is very
hot. Be careful when clearing paper jams in the
fuser area.

2. Fuser

Uses heat and pressure to permanently adhere
the toner image to the paper before the printer
delivers the paper to the output tray.

3. Cleaning Brush

Use to clean the drum mirror.

4. Toner Cartridge Guide Channel

Match the color markings on the channel with
the color markings on the Toner cartridge to
correctly install the Toner cartridge in the
printer.
