Hole at Optimum Height
This height assures the best display viewability for able ‐ bodied people. It does
NOT comply with the lowered height regulations listed in the next section.

Hole at Lowered Height
It is the responsibility of the owning institution to make sure that the height
from the sidewalk level to the highest operable point on the facia (see ‘Facia
Items’) complies with any local regulations. The information contained in the
following tables include the maximum plinth heights for the countries listed
and are shown as examples.
For correct installation height you must consider the difference in height
between the sidewalk and the interior floor, and install the ATM on a plinth if
necessary.
Note that CEN certified security enclosures must have a CEN certified plinth.
