| BRM2 Brain Monitor Reference Manual

After a change in local time

After a change in local time (for example, the start or end of daylight savings time), you should adjust the
BRM2 Brain Monitor's system time. See

Set Date and Time screen

on page 14.

Calibration

The BRM2 Brain Monitor is factory-calibrated, and does not require periodic re-calibration.

Upgrading software

The BRM2 Brain Monitor software can be easily upgraded in the field, when required.

Upgrades may be distributed either on Compact Flash (CF) cards or on CD-ROMs, and simple instructions
for use will be provided with each upgrade.

Follow the instructions supplied with the software upgrade, then retain the CF card or CD-ROM in case
it is needed again.

Servicing

Information on troubleshooting, servicing procedures, and spare part details are included in the

"BRM2

Technical Manual"

. For advice concerning servicing or repair of the BRM2 Brain Monitor, contact an

Authorized Service Center. See

Authorized service centers

on page 41.

Warranty repairs must be performed by an Authorized Service Center.

Do not use malfunctioning equipment.

Disposal

EU only: Do not dispose of the BRM2 Brain Monitor as unsorted municipal waste at the end of the
product's lifetime. The BRM2 Brain Monitor is categorized as Electrical and Electronic Equipment under
the WEEE Directive 2002/96/EC. To arrange for the return or collection of the BRM2 Brain Monitor,
contact an Authorized Service Center. See
