Indications for use
The BRM2 Brain Monitor is designed to monitor the state of the neonate’s brain by the acquisition of
EEG signals. It is intended for use in healthcare institutions, in both intensive care units and operating
rooms, and in research facilities.
When used in conjunction with other clinical data, the BRM2 Brain Monitor is intended for use:
• solely with neonatal patients
• in monitoring the state of the brain by acquisition of electroencephalogram (EEG) signals, in clinical
environments such as the intensive care unit, operating room, and for clinical research.
The BRM2 Brain Monitor is not intended to provide any diagnostic conclusions about the patient’s
condition to the user.
