1. Place the grinder in the area where work is to begin.
2. Place weights on grinding head beside motor.
3. Check the main power cable and the dust hose for damage. Replace or repair all damaged
parts before starting the machine.
4. Connect the grinder and dust collector using the dust hose.
5. Connect the supply cable of the GP machine* with the site supply. Make sure that the correct
electric supply is available.
*An authorized electrician must verify proper voltage before turning on the machine!
Damage to VSD will occur if voltage is incorrect.

Initial Operation
Attention! Before you plug the equipment to a power supply make sure the power supply
is equivalent to the data shown on the machine label.
Start-up procedure:
1. Turn on the dust collector.
2. Ensure plug is connected correctly to the power source.
3. Ensure dust hose is connected correctly to dust collector and machine.
4. Check that the main switch is turned on and the dead man switch is in place, with the lanyard
around the operator’s wrist.
5. Place downward pressure on handle; press the ‘Start’ button.
6. Release pressure from handle and immediately begin moving the machine from side-to-side
to prevent the tools from digging into the concrete surface and creating an uneven profile.
When grinding in work area is complete, push the ‘Stop’ button to stop the grinding motor.
7. The dust bin of the collection unit needs to be emptied regularly.*
*Do not overfill the bin to avoid dust exposure when opening the bin.
