(ECUTS-16001) Replacing the Ethernet Switch

Equipment

•

#1 Phillips screwdriver

•

#2 Phillips screwdriver

1.

Power off the ECUTS-16001.

2.

Open the rear cabinet door.

3.

Disconnect the ethernet cables from the ethernet switch.

4.

Disconnect the power from the ethernet switch by removing the combicon connector.

5.

Remove the screws from the bracket securing the ethernet switch to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.

6.

Remove the ethernet switch from the mounting bracket using the #1 Phillips screwdriver.

7.

Install the replacement ethernet switch to the mounting bracket.

8.

Replace the screws to the bracket securing the ethernet switch to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.

9.

Connect the power to the ethernet switch by replacing the combicon connector.

10. Connect the ethernet cables to the ethernet switch.
11. Close the rear cabinet door.

Replacing the EPO Panel

(ECUTS-16000) Replacing the EPO Panel

Equipment

•

#1 Phillips screwdriver

•

#2 Phillips screwdriver

•

Adjustable wrench

•

Hex driver

1.

Power off the ECUTS-16000.

2.

Disconnect the cables from the monitor.

3.

Pull the cable gland and accompanying cables from the fan plate.

4.

Loosen the set screw on the monitor arm using the hex driver.

5.

Lift the monitor arm out of the monitor mount.

6.

Remove the six screws on the fan plate using the #1 Phillips screwdriver.

7.

Move aside the fan plate to expose the top of the test rack.

8.

Disconnect the fan assembly power supply cables from the WAGO nuts.

9.

Remove the #4-40 standoff screws from the safety shutoff thermostats using the hex driver.

10. Remove the fan plate from the test rack.
11. Remove the ground cable nut from the PEP using the adjustable wrench.
12. Remove the ground cable from the PEP.
13. Disconnect the AC power cable, ethernet cable, and USB cable from the PEP.
14. Remove the screws securing the USB ports to the PEP using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
15. Remove the screws securing the PEP to the test rack using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
16. Remove the PEP from the test rack.
17. Disconnect the ethernet cable from the inside of the PEP.
18. Disconnect the Molex connecter from the inside of the PEP.
19. Disconnect the power connecter from the inside of the PEP.
20. Remove the filler panels above the receiver using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
21. Disconnect the cable labeled EDR from the PDU.
22. Remove the screws from the EPO panel using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
23. Remove the EPO panel.
24. Install the replacement EPO panel.
25. Replace the screws to the EPO panel using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.
26. Connect the cable labeled EDR to the PDU.
27. Replace the filler panels above the receiver using the #1 Phillips screwdriver.
