Replacing the USB-6363 Multifunction I/O Module

Equipment

•

#2 Phillips screwdriver

•

Flathead screwdriver

Power off the ECUTS.

Turn the quarter-turn locks on the left panel of the test rack using the flathead screwdriver.
•

(ECUTS-16000) Two-quarter turn locks

•

(ECUTS-16001) Four quarter-turn locks

Remove test rack side panel.
•

(ECUTS-16000) Remove the left panel

•

(ECUTS-16001) Remove the right panel

Disconnect the VHDCI cables from the USB-6363.

Disconnect the power cable from the USB-6363.

Remove the two screws on the top retention bracket using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the USB-6363 from the test rack.

Install the replacement USB-6363 in the bracket.

Screw in the two screws on the top retention bracket using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.

10. Connect the VHDCI cables to the USB-6363.
11. Connect the power cable to the USB-6363.
12. Sit the test rack side panel back into the test rack.
13. Turn the quarter-turn locks test rack panel using the flathead screwdriver.

Replacing the SLSC Blowers

Equipment

•

#2 Phillips screwdriver

•

Flathead screwdriver

Power off the ECUTS.

Refer to

Replacing the SLSC Chassis

and complete the procedure.

Insert the flathead screwdriver into the notches on the SLSC chassis to remove the side panels.

Remove the two top panel retention screws using the #2 Phillips screwdriver.

Lift the top panel off the SLSC chassis.

Disconnect the wires associated with the fan(s) that you want to replace from the terminal block.
a)

Insert the flathead screwdriver into the spring clamp activation slot to open the corresponding connector terminal.

Pull the wire out of the connector terminal and remove the screwdriver.
