Commissioning
Switching on
Press the switch (1).
Switching off
Release the switch (1).
Lower speed is suitable for wood screw/screw guidance into the
material. Higher speed is suitable for wood screw/screw setting
into the material or for drilling.
Attention! Prolonged periodic quick handling is not
recommended. It could damage the switch.
Sense of rotation change
The sense of rotation could be changed by rotational direction
switch (2):
• Push from right to left for the right run.
• Push from left to right for the left run.
• Keep the button in the middle position for safety lock.
Attention!
Before changing the position of rotational direction switch, please
make sure the button is in the base position.
Note:
In the early stage of the first use after changing the rotational di-
rection, a loud click could be heard. It is quite normal and does not
indicate any malfunction.
Tools chucking
Please keep in mind that the extensions have to be put finger tight
on the spindle (3) or into the impact socket adapter.
Instructions for use
Please turn off the machine before fixing it to the nut/bolt.
Tightening torque depends on the tightening time Maximum
tightening torque is based on partial torques achieved by the im-
pacts. Maximum tightening torque is achieved after the impact
period (6–10 s). Only a slight increase in the torque occurs, but the
impact mechanism will significantly warm up.
Overheating could lead to high wear of all parts in the impact
mechanism and a worse grease economy.
Tightening time should be specified for each required torque.
Tightening torque achieved is to be checked by torque wrench
regularly.
There are two specific types of connections for use:
Hard connection:
Bolting two or more (usually metallic) parts by screwed joint which
does not spring or distort by pressure applied while being tight-
ened.
Soft connection:
Bolting two or more parts from which at least one is from such
a material or is of such a design that does not spring or distort by
the applied pressure.
Required tightening time is specified in accordance with the
enclosed chart.
Strength grade of bolts and nuts according to
ISO 898‑1: 10,9.

Tightening always depends on the type and the character of the
parts to be tightened. Tightening time longer than 10 s only slight-
ly increases the tightening torque.
Smaller bolts can be tightened only in the case of soft connec‑
tions while the time until wear occurs could be even shorter
than 1 s. Tightening time in these cases should not be longer
than 2‑3 s.
While loosening bolt joints (with rust bolts etc.), even the max.
time (10 s) indicated may not be sufficient in some cases. In such
cases, you have to use intermittent operation with 10 s cycles of
impacts and 10 s idling for cooling.
Maintenance and service
Attention! Risk of electric shock. Prior to start handling
the charger, disconnect the line plug from the socket!
Prevent the air vents of engine housing from clogging.
For cable change, please visit a professional electrotechnical
shop with an appropriate certification.
After 50 hours of operation, please make sure to do the fol‑
lowing:
Inspect the length of brushes. Brushes having more than 5mm
in length should be changed.
Grease in the impact mechanism, gearing and bearings should
be changed.
Attention! With respect to protection from el. shock
and preservation of the class of protection, all mainte‑
nance and service operations requesting jig saw case
removal must be performed by the authorized service centre
only!
The current list of authorized service centres can be found at our
