venting installation

Secure 5” restrictor to mounting plate using 2 screws (supplied).

Remove bafﬂ e by removing 1 screw from ﬁ rebox. Set screw and bafﬂ e aside.

Align mounting plate clearance holes (4) over existing screws protruding into ﬁ rebox. For ease of access,

ensure restrictor and mounting plate are installed with screws installed in Step A facing upwards

(into exhaust collar).

Install 4 self-drilling screws (supplied) (2 per side).

Reinstall bafﬂ e using screw removed in step B.

note:

For ease of installation, the mounting plate was designed with 2 ﬁ xed holes and 2 slotted holes.

Vertical installations may display a very active ﬂ ame. If this appearance is not desirable, the exhaust outlet may be
restricted with a Wolf Steel approved restrictor kit. This kit is not recommended for short vertical vent runs.

Depending on the model and/or year of your appliance, mounting holes may not exist.

restricting vertical vents

5.5.1 LV38-1 / LV50-2

5.5.2 LV62 / LV74

If mounting holes exist, remove the screws from the ﬁ rebox top, align the restrictor plate as illustrated and

secure.

If mounting holes do not exist, align the restrictor plate as illustrated and secure using the two screws

(supplied).

Ensure the plate will pivot at the slot up into the exhaust outlet.

Depending on the amount of restriction desired, the restrictor plate can be left ﬂ at for most restriction or

bent up for varying degrees of restriction.
