S 07 MAINTENANCE
OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT
WARNING!
Be sure to stop the engine before replacing filter cartridge.
ENVIRONMENT!
Use a suitable container. Used oil must be disposed of as
specified in national and international laws and regula -
tions.
• Remove the oil filter cartridge (1) with the filter
wrench.
• Apply a slight coat of oil onto the new cartridge
gasket.
• To install the new cartridge, screw it in by hand.
Over tightening may cause deformation of rubber
gasket.
• After the new cartridge has been replaced, the en-
gine oil normally decrease a little. Thus see that
the engine oil does not leak through the seal and
be sure to read the oil level on the dipstick. Then,
replenish the engine oil up to the specified level.
IMPORTANT!
To prevent serious damage to the engine, replacement el-
ement must be highly efficient. Use only a NANNI genuine
filter or its equivalent.
CHECK FUEL HOSES AND CLAMP BANDS
WARNING!
Stop the engine before check.
If the clamp (2) is loose, apply oil to the threads and tight-
en it properly.
The fuel hose (1) material is rubber and deteriorates nat-
urally. Replace the fuel hose together with the clamp in a
2-years interval.
But if the fuel hose and clamp has damages before 2
years, replace them.
After replacement, bleed the fuel system. (See chapter
fuel filter replacement)
