SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: Read the manual carefully before operating the sprayer. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in damage to
the sprayer, physical injury and/or damage to property. Store the manual in a safe place for future reference.
Operator responsibility
•
Be sure that anyone who operates the sprayer receives proper instruction.
•
Do not let children operate the unit without supervision.
•
Do not refuel the tank with pure gasoline (always use a mix of two-stroke engine oil and gasoline).
•
Do not allow persons under the influence of alcohol or other substances to use the equipment.
•
Keep children and pets away from the sprayer when it is in operation.
Carbon monoxide hazard
•
Exhaust gas contains poisonous carbon monoxide, a colourless and odourless gas, breathing the exhaust gas can cause loss of consciousness and may lead
to death.
•
If you run the unit in areas that are confined, or even partially enclosed, the air you breathe could contain a dangerous amount of exhaust gas.
Fire and burn hazard
•
The exhaust system can ignite some materials.

Keep flammable materials away from the engine.
•
The exhaust muffler becomes very hot while the engine is running and remains hot for a while after stopping the engine. Be careful not to touch the exhaust
muffler while it is hot. Let the engine cool before storing the engine indoors.
•
Gasoline is extremely flammable and explosive under certain conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks where the engine is refuelled or where
gasoline is stored. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine stopped.
•
Fuel vapours are extremely flammable and may ignite after the engine has started. Make sure that any spilled fuel has been wiped up before starting the
engine.
•
Store fuel in containers specifically designed for this purpose.
•
Never remove the fuel tank cap or refuel while the engine is running.
•
Never store the equipment with gasoline in the tank inside a building where fumes can ignite a fire.
•
Make sure that the fuel tank cap is securely tightened in place before starting the engine.
Rotating parts hazard
•
Keep away from rotating parts. Be careful not to touch any part of the unit while it is running.
PREPARATION
Selecting, mixing and adding the appropriate fuel
•
Use a mixture of gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil. Do not use other types of oil.
•
Add 30ml of oil for every litre of gasoline.
•
Never use oil or gasoline that is dirty or otherwise contaminated.
Warning: Make sure the engine is stopped and cool before adding fuel.
STARTING THE ENGINE
1. Press the primer bulb until the fuel line is filled with fuel.
2. Close the choke lever.
-Note:
If the air temperature is high or the engine is warm, the choke lever can be set to the middle position or opened fully.
Important: Before starting the engine, make sure to fill the chemical tank with clean water or chemical fluid. Do not start the engine if the chemical tank
is empty.
