outlet must be same level or above the fuel pump on the diesel engine. Fuel tank should be provided with access for
refilling and topping up the fuel.
The fuel gauge is normally supplied loose and must be fitted to the fuel tank as per the manufacturer instructions or
install as given below in an empty tank:

. Unthread the lock nut connecting the reading scale assembly and bushing that is to be fitted on to the fuel gauge
opening.

. Thread in the bushing to the

" fuel gauge opening on the fuel tank.

. Insert the float-internal rods assembly in to the fuel tank through the center hole of the bushing while making sure
that the swing arm is facing in the desired direction.

. Replace the reading scale assembly, tighten down the locking nut and confirm that the gauge reads ‘empty’.
Fill the tank with sufficient fuel for one hour running for commissioning tests. (See Fig. No.
24)

Battery must be always kept in fully charged condition.
2.
Automatic charging of battery from control panel should be monitored.
