5 Preparation of the spray-gun washer
5.1 Zone A
1.
Pour approximately 10 litres of water in the tank (fig.1, W2), approx. 30 litres in the container.
2.
Insert the hose (fig.1, W23) in the container W53, and the hose (fig.1, W7) inside the tank (fig.1, W2). The hose (fig.1,
W7) may also be inserted in the container (fig.1, W53).
3.
Adjust the fresh water flow by means of the valve (fig.1, W23R).
5.2 Zone B
1.
Take a 25 l metal container full of clean solvent (fig.1, 28), and an empty metal container (same capacity) (fig.1, 27).
2. Pour approximately 8 litres of clean solvent from container 28 to container 27.
3.
Place both containers on the collection tank (fig.1, 47).
4. Insert hoses 23-24 in container 28 and hoses 7-26 in container 27 insert 7-26. This container will be used to recover dirty
solvent after the washing cycle.
6 Operating instructions
With the spray-gun washer, you can clean spray-guns and accessories, make colour tests and separate and eliminate paint.
6.1 Manual water washing in zone A
1.
Open the door (fig.1, 11) of the spray-gun washer.
2.
Disassemble the spray gun over the grid top (fig.1, W6C).
3. Discharge the residual content into a container not inside the spray-gun washer.
4.
Initially, wash pieces with a brush (fig.1, W36Z) enabled by the valve (fig.1, W17) sucking detergent from the tank(fig.1,
W2). Pull the trigger of the spray-gun and spray detergent in the inside by means of nebulizer (fig.1, W22) enabled by
valve (fig.1, W18).

Finally start washing wash with the nebulizer (fig.1, W22) or with the washing brush (fig.1, W36) connected to the
company’s water mains.
6.
Pull the spray gun trigger to be washed and blow with the gun (fig.1, 4A) inside the duct where the paint is conveyed.
Externally, blow all over the spray-gun for the final rinse.
If, after the manual water washing parts are still stained with paint, bring them in the zone B and start
the final washing with solvent with the nebulizer (fig.1, 22) enabled by the lever (fig.1, 18). At the end
of each washing, dry washed parts with a clean cloth.
6.2 Manual solvent washing in zone B
1.
Open the door (fig.1, 11) of the spray-gun washer.
2.
Dismantle the spray gun over the grid top (fig.1, 25).
3. Discharge the residual content into a container not inside the spray-gun washer.
4.
Enable the lever (fig.1, 17) to discharge the used solvent and, with the brush start the first wash of the spray-gun.
5.
Connect the spray-gun to the compressed air feeding hose (fig.1, 4).
6.
With the small pump (fig.1, 8) enabled by the lever (fig.1, 17) or the nebulizer (fig.1, 22) enabled by the lever (fig.1, 18)
convey the clean solvent through the colour suction hole of the spray-gun.
7. Spray to rinse the gun.
