Substitution of the valve slot
The following tools are necessary for this procedure:
prick-puncher n° 800095319 for inlet slot
prick-puncher n° 800095318 for exhaust slot
Proceed as follows:
A)Remove the worn slots carefully milling them so as
not to damage the head lodging
B)Check the lodging diameter on the head and choose
the oversized valve slot considering that the
assem-
bling interference should be 0,10÷0,15 mm
.
C)Valve slots are furnished with an
increased
replace-
ment part of
0,03 mm
on the external diameter.
D)Slowly and evenly heat the head at a max tempera-
ture of 180°C and cool the new slots with dry ice.
E)Place the slots perfectly in frame into its lodging,
using the special n° 800095319 prick-puncher
(INLET) e n° 800095318 (EXHAUST)
F) Let cool and proceed with the milling of the slots and
grinding the valves referring to the following quo-
tients:

Ø S 24,6
