8.2  Additional Items Needed 

 
To operate the kit, the following additional item is needed:

One PC with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 operating system. The PC must be equipped with a USB 
port or a serial port capable of operation at 9600 bps. 

 

8.3  Developer’s Kit Default Operating Configuration 

 
The default operating configuration of the DNT24DK developer’s kit is point-to-point with transparent 
serial data at 9600 bps, 8N1. One DNT24 is preconfigured as a base and the other as a remote. Labels on the bottom of 
the interface boards specify
