S30 1 minute 0–255 0 S30 specifies the length of time (in
tens of seconds) that the modem
waits before disconnecting when
no data is sent or received. This
function is only applicable to buffer
mode.

Bits 0-2 This option indicates what should happen upon a LAPM failure.
These fallback options are initiated immediately upon connection if S48 =
128. If an invalid number is entered, the number is accepted into the register,
but S36 will act as it the default value has been entered.
0 = Modem Disconnects.
1 = Modem stays on-line and a Direct mode
connection is established.
2 = Reserved
3 = Modem stays on-line and a Normal
