Step 1: Drill holes into the tank

The field sprayer must be standing on level ground.

Drill a hole (55 mm diameter) in the top of the tank for the sensor tube opening.

Mark the drilling positions. To do this, push the sensor tube and flange through the hole. Using
the flange 140 as a drilling template, mark the screw positions on the tank.

Drill 4 holes (8.5 mm diameter) at the positions marked; they will be used to attach the flange.

Pull the sensor tube out of the tank.

Use a plumb-line to identify a point directly below the hole on the base of the tank.

Mark the position for the hole.

Drill a hole (6.2 mm diameter) at the point you have marked so that you can install the tube
socket.

You can now install the tube socket.
