Connect to SATA connectors

Take out the dust cover
and connect to the hard
disk devices

Serial ATA cable

Serial ATA Connectors: SATA_1 ~ SATA_8

SATA_1 ~ SATA_4 are high-speed Serial ATA interface ports. Each supports 1

st

generation serial ATA data rates of 150MB/s and is fully compliant with Serial ATA 1.
0 specifications. Each Serial ATA connector can connect to 1 hard disk device.

SATA_5 ~ SATA_8 are high-speed SATA II interface ports supported by Adaptec AIC-
8130 (with RAID 0, 1, 0+1) and support SATA II data rates of 300MB/s. Each SATA II
connector can connect to 1 hard disk device and is fully compliant with Serial ATA 2.
0 specifications.

Important

Please do not fold the Serial ATA cable into 90-degree angle. Otherwise,
data loss may occur during transmission.
