9.2.6 Modbus 

Interface 

The Model IR4000S does not have built-in serial communications but can pass the 
Modbus signals from the attached detector to the control room. It is not possible to 
communicate with the IR4000S directly. For details on the Modbus registers, refer to the 
IR400 Modbus programming manual available on our website 
(www.MSAsafety.com/detection).
