To configure the port speed:
1
From the enable mode, enter the
configure terminal
command to begin configuration.

Enter the
port speed
command at the (config)# prompt. Type
in the required speed option followed by the port group or all
ports.
OS2400(config)#
port
speed
{
10/100/100/auto
} {
ports-group/all
}

Type
exit
to return to the previous mode.

Type
write file
to save the configuration changes to the
configuration files.
The following example displays the command line for setting the
port speed configuration:
OS2400<config># port speed 100 all
Port 1.1 speed set to: FORC100
Port 1.2 speed set to: FORC100
Port 1.3 speed set to: FORC100
Port 1.4 speed set to: FORC100
Port m1 speed set to: FORC100
Port m2 speed set to: FORC100

Setting the Duplex Mode
You can set the duplex transmission mode, either half or full, for a
port, group of ports, or all the ports.

To set the duplex mode:

From the enable mode, enter the
configure terminal
command to begin configuration.

Enter the
port duplex
command at the (config)# prompt. Type
in either
half
or
full
and enter the port group or type
all
ports.
OS2400(config)#
port
duplex
{
half
|
full
} {
ports- group
|
all
}

Type
exit
to return to the previous mode.

Type
write file
to save the configuration changes to the
configuration files.
