Web Management Interface
MRV MegaVision software also supports the Web Management
Interface through which you can access the OptiSwitch-2400/L3.

Command Line Interface
The Command Line Interface gives you access to the
administrative interface, therefore, in order to ask the device to
perform some operation simply type the appropriate command.
The CLI enables you to manage, configure and receive status
information for all of the features of the Optiswitch-2400/L3. The CLI
contains various access levels and configuration modes that allow
you to perform the different configuration functions. To execute a
command, simply type the command followed by the parameters
the command requires.

CLI Conventions
The following style and font conventions are used to explain CLI
command utilization when configuring the OptiSwitch-2400/L3.

Bold
font specifies that you must type the actual keyword
command that is displayed in bold.

Italic
font specifies that you must enter a certain parameter
that is described by the word in italics.

pecifies that the keyword, parameter or command is
optional.

] specifies that there are optional parameter alternatives.
■

} specifies that there are parameter alternatives.
Command Modes
This section describes the relevant components required to begin
the configuration process. There are three levels through which
you can access the different set of commands, where you
perform the actual configuration functions. The access levels and
configuration modes are described in the following sections.
