THEORY OF OPERATION (CONT’D)
DIPSTICK EXCHANGE
PAN DRAIN
INPUT
- Press Start button
OUTPUT
- Waste pump turns on (50% voltage to waste pump). PCB monitors flow
rate into waste tank to determine when the pan is empty.
PAN REFILL
INPUT
- Press Fill button
OUTPUT
- Clean fluid pump turns on
- Inline Solenoid turns on
- PCB stops pan refill based on clean and waste tank pressure transducer
values
- Unit flashes Start Engine LED and beeps
AUTOMATIC PORTION OF EXCHANGE
INPUT
– Press Start button
OUTPUT
– Unit alternates between filling and draining until the Clean Tank is empty
(Level Switch closes). The unit then drains until it has drained the same
amount of fluid as it filled.
