TROUBLESHOOTING (CONT’D)
Pressure Tube Leak Test
To determine if there is a leak in the clean tank pressure tube, follow these steps.
1) Ensure that the clean tank fluid level is around the zero mark at the front of the
cabinet.
2) Hook TransTech IV to 12 VDC power source.
3) (see picture for this step) Set multimeter for voltage and put the probes on the
top 2 pins. The voltage should be approximately 0.2V
4) Add fluid to the clean tank and check the reading. Note 4 quarts ~ 0.45 V
5) Monitor the voltage, if it is decreasing there is a leak.
6) Repeat procedure for waste tank.
