3.1.1 McTi-8E Trunk Interface Jumpers

The trunk interface jumpers installed on 4-wire E&M boards are used to select ground
options. Each 4-wire E&M board has eight jumpers: JP1, JP2, JP3, JP4, JP5, JP6,
JP7 and JP8. These jumpers select the ground options for E&M Types I, II and III. For
E&M Types I and III, the left two pins on each jumper should be connected (position
A). For E&M Type II, the right two pins on each jumper should be connected (position
B). Jumper positions are illustrated below.
