Alarm Relay Connections
Connections for major and minor alarms are made via dry contact closures on the
Alarm Transition board. These closures are connected from a male 50-pin cable
connector to the alarm panel at the CO. Backplane connector J5 serves the alarm
circuits; see Figure 1-3. Alarm relay pin connections are shown below.

failure of signal battery input or Fuse 2.
