Task 21: Configuring Parameters Using the Options Dialog

The Options dialog, consisting of three pages, allows you to configure parameters
such as:

•

Configuration (language, COM (serial) port, codeplug backup path)

•

service provider settings

•

send SMS settings

Select

Tools/Options

. The Options dialog box display.

Use the Configuration page to set (or reset) initial language,

COM

(serial) port

number, and codeplug backup path. Also use the Configuration page to verify
the connection between the

and radio. If the QuickComm box on the

Configuration page is checked, CompanionPro can use high-speed
communications when accessing the phone through the serial port for certain
phone models.

Use the Service Provider Settings page to set up service provider information.
