Pull
the two other
RED
and
BLUE
1/4" air lines from the leg and run to the closest exit side
ENERGY GATE UNIT
and repeat the procedure for the exit Energy Gate units.
Connect
the
BLUE
air line to the
ENERGY GATE
inlet fitting clearly identified
OPEN.
Connect the
RED
air line to
the
CLOSED
energy gate inlet fitting (see picture #3).
Finally
, pull a 3/8” air line from a compressed air source capable of 1SCFM @ 60PSI and connect to the air feed
main panel (see picture #3).

IT IS IMPERATIVE TO SUPPLY THE ENERGY GATE’S PNEUMATIC
SYSTEM PANEL WITH “CLEAN, DRY, COMPRESSED AIR”
ANY AMOUNT OF MOISTURE, VAPORIZED OIL OR ANY
OTHER IMPURITIES WITHIN THE MAIN AIR SUPPLY MAY
AFFECT THE PERFORMANCE OF THE EQUIPMENT
AND LEAD TO PREMATURE WEAR OR MAJOR DAMAGE
TO THE GATE’S AIR DELIVERY SYSTEM, OR ITS COMPONENTS.
Electrical Requirements
Connect
each solenoid valve on a separate function from your car wash controller.
STOP!
CONFIRM THE VOLTAGE OF YOUR UNIT BY CHECKING THE
VOLTAGE SPECS OF THE “MAC” AIR SOLENOID VALVES.
OPEN BED DETECTION
YOU MAY ALSO WANT TO SEPARATE THE TOP GATES
FROM THE SIDE ENERGY GATES INSTEAD OF ENTRANCE AND EXIT.
THIS SETUP WOULD ALLOW YOU TO TURN OFF ONLY THE TOP GATES
WHEN A TRUCK WITH AN OPEN BED IS PRESENT UNDER THE DRYER.
