10. Cover a screwdriver with a soft cloth and insert it into the hole at the top of the
cap, then with the adjustable spanner hold the shock body at the notches show. Then
carefully twist the shock cap free. Once loosened you can remove by hand.
11. Put the cap aside and empty the oil contents into a container for disposal.
12. Compress the shock to push out any remaining oil.
13. Remove the nut at the top of the central shaft using a Xmm hex socket driver.
14. Remove the plastic plate & two washers and store them safely to
the side, then remove the central shaft from the assembly
15. Unscrew the plastic cover at the base of the body, this cover will
then split into two pieces, store these safely to the side.
16. Remove the inner two O-Rings and Plastic spacer.
17. Remove the outer O-Ring with a pick or small screwdriver
18. Take the Shock Cap and remove the O-Ring seated inside with a pick or small screwdriver.
19. Give everything a clean with a rag and brake cleaner to remove any
oil residue. Make sure to also clean all the small components.
