MAINS POWER SUPPLY UNIT (PSU)

OVERVIEW

The AGITO Mains Power Supply unit is designed specifically for the AGITO Modular Dolly System. It comes primarily as a 48Vdc power 
supply, providing two unregulated outputs. The 24Vdc and 12Vdc step-down circuits have a combined sub-limit of 12 Amps peak load 
when used at 240Vac. The unit has a combined total peak limit of 26A @ 110Vac and 52A @ 240Vac, see the chart below for more details.

REQUIRED BEFORE USE

Please note that the AGITO MAINS PSU does not come with a pre-made mains input power cable. The unit is 

shipped with a NEUTRIK NAC3FCA connector ready to be fitted to a suitable length of mains cable by the user. 

Why doesn’t the unit come with a supplied mains cable?

 The simple answer is that we don’t know how long you want the cable to be, for 

your application. We have supplied the required NEUTRIK NAC3FCA connector so it will be very easy for a suitably qualified technician 
to fit this to your own cable.

BATTERY ATTACHMENT

The AGITO MAINS PSU connects to the AGITO Core using a specially designed Battery Module, connected via an 2-pin Lemo cable 
(supplied). 

IT IS VITAL THAT WHEN USING THE AGITO MAINS PSU THAT A STANDARD 48V AGITO 

BATTERY IS ALSO USED TO ENABLE REGENERATIVE BREAKING TO OCCUR.

ATTACHING PSU TO TRAX DRIVE-END

PLEASE ENSURE YOU USE THE CORRECT TOOL TO AVOID DAMAGE TO SCREWHEADS. USE METRIC TOOLS 

FOR THE CHASSIS AND IMPERIAL TOOLS FOR DRIVE-ENDS AND CAMERA MOUNT (3/8TH INCH).

Attach the two Mounting Brackets to each side of the PSU using 4x M5 bolts (provided)

Lower the PSU onto the TRAX Drive-End, align the 3/8th inch hole within the 

Mounting Braket with the corresponding hole on the Drive-End

Screw in bolt to secure. Do not overtighten

Insert AGITO MAINS PSU Battery Module into the closest Battery Pocket

Connect Battery Module to AGITO MAINS PSU using supplied interconnection cable

ALWAYS insert a Standard AGITO Battery into the remaining Battery Pocket
