TRAX MODE: CONFIGURATION
TURNING ON AGITO TRAX
With your batteries installed, it is good practice (but not necessary) to first turn on your MASTER
Controller. Now on the chassis pull up the red Master power button on the top of the CORE. Once the
system successfully links between the CORE and MASTER Controller, the start-up initialisation sequence
will begin. The MASTER will ask the user to calibrate the Trax System, once this is selected the Menu
will display the calibration sequence. At the end of this sequence the CORE is fully powered on and
ready to go. The MASTER will show the main Trax Menu screen.
CONFIGURING TRAX
TRACK CALIBRATION
When starting up AGITO Trax, it is important to correctly calibrate the system so that it learns the track.
Make sure the MAG-STOP module is correctly fitted
to the Trax Drive-End, we normally place this as
shown below at the Front / Left side of the AGITO.
Positioned on the far side from the Operator for
continuity.
Ensure the AGITO is positioned in the
CENTRE of the Track.
Place the Magnets securely at each end of the Track
Since the MAG-STOP is off-set on the AGITO, it is
important to correctly position the magnets. Ensure
magnets are no more than 1cm from the MAG-
STOP.
At the Front / Left end of the Track (closest to the
MAG-STOP) position the Magnet 25cm from the
end of the track. At the Rear / Right end of the
Before the Trax calibration has been completed, it is possible to run beyond
the physical ends of the track.
Always ensure you carefully test the calibration prior to operation.
When turning on the MASTER Controller be careful not to press any button (or pedals) other than
the power switch, specifically the Throttle Input. On start-up the controller runs through a calibration
process, if the Throttle Input is not centered then the AGITO may accelerate unexpectedly. The
calibration process finishes when the main menu screen appears.
MAG-STOP is still in BETA, subsequently it should not be used as your only safety mitigation, it will
be fully enabled in a future firmware release, please refer to the supplied firmware release notes
for details
. Once calibration has been completed the user MUST check that the settings have been
correctly configured and that the Hardware is positioned on the Track safely and securely.
