9.3.1 Pressure Adjust Levels (LAD680)
Pressure adjust levels controls the air pressure output. When turning up (
), the output pressure
will increase. Vice versa (
) for decreasing air pressure. Higher-pressure output will support the
heavier weight patient. In order to find the correct pressure setting: First inflate the mattress to
max pressure level, have the patient lie on top of the mattress, then decrease the pressure gra-
dually until the patient feel most comfortable without bottoming out. Have the
