APPENDIX A: CONTROL BOX MENU REFERENCE 

Main Menu 

Quick Settings >> Opens the quick settings menu. 
Print file Displays a list of 3D model files on the inserted microSD card. 
Position >> Opens the position menu, which allows you to automatically or manually 
position the extruder and built platform. 
Extruder >> Opens the extruder menu. 
Fan speed >> Opens the fan speed menu. 
SD Card >> Opens the SD card menu. 
Debugging >> Opens the debugging menu. 
Configuration >> Opens the configuration submenu. 
 

Quick Settings Menu 

Back Returns to the Main Menu. 
Home All Moves the extruder and build platform to their home locations. 
Speed Mul. 100% Scales the printing speed. 
Flow Mul. 100% Scales the speed of filament flow. 
Preheat PLA Select this entry to preheat the printer for use with PLA filament. 
Preheat ABS Select this entry to preheat the printer for use with ABS filament. 
Cooldown Select this entry to turn off the heaters to allow the extruder and build 
platform to cool down. 
Disable/Enable stepper Allows you to enable or disable the stepper motors. When 
disabled, you can physically move the extruder in the X, Y, and Z axes.
