Section 12.4: Modbus TCP Slave – PLC Setup and Sequence of
Operations – Version 1.1

Note: mCore will not perform calculations unless a License file AND at least 1 Viewer
file is uploaded, set to active, and clicked Store Changes.

Setup the PLC to write the compressor values to the corresponding registers (40k
Reals/Floats) per the Data Map’s Writes tab.

Once all the compressor values are written and you are ready to start the
calculations, write a 1 to register 403649 (40k word/16-bit integer).

Register 403650 (40k word/16-bit integer) will go to a 1 indicating the calculation
is in progress. Register 403651 will go to a 1 when the calculations are done.

Once the calculation is done, write a zero to register 403649 (40k word/16-bit
integer).

Repeat steps 1-4 as often as you want to get new calculated values. Typical
calculation time is 500 ms or .5s.
