Section 8.2.1: CDL Traffic Log
This is a diagnostics tool for Monico Support staff should the need arise. If asked
to get a CDL Traffic Log, follow the steps below for enabling the Traffic Log. With
CDL it is important to follow a specific procedure to gather adequate traffic logs.
For Instructions on exporting the Traffic Logs, see
Section 13.6
.
1.
Ensure that
Keyswitch
on the machine is
OFF
to make sure the ECM’s are
powered down. mCore should be powered at this point for the following steps
while the ECM’s are powered down. If you are using the Service Tool
Connector, the power from this connector is not switched, so it remains
powered regardless of keyswitch.
2.
Click the check box next to Collect Traffic Log, then click the Store Changes
button.
3.
Go to Export System Logs menu and click Clear System Logs. Store Changes.
4.
Commit All Changes and wait for mCore to restart.
5.
Turn the Keyswitch ON to power the ECM’s and leave running for 5-15
minutes.
6.
Go to the Export System Logs menu and download the System Logs and send
to [email protected].
