If you are working with aluminium alloy wheels, external
locking is recommended, using with the supplied protec-
tion kit for the sliding clamps in order to avoid the risk of
damaging the wheel.
The sliding clamp protection kit must also be used for
external locking of 10” wheels.

9.5. DEMOUNTINg ThE WhEEL
- Position the mount/demount head against the edge of the rim.
- Immobilize vertical movement of the head with lever (Fig.20a).
- Turn knob (5) in order to adjust the mount/demount head as illustrated in Figure 20b.
- Assist a portion of the upper bead into the drop centre of the wheel by pushing down
on the sidewall opposite the mount/demount head (Fig.21).
- Insert and position the bead lifting tool on the mount/demount head (Fig.21).
- Lift the upper tire bead over the knob portion of the mount/demount head (Fig.22).
