1 Operating Elements 

and Connections

POWER switch; lights up during operation

Control MASTER for the overall volume

Control TREBLE (high frequencies) and con-

trol BASS (low frequencies) for the sound
adjustment

Volume control for the input signal of the jack

MIC IN (8)

Output LINE OUT (RCA jacks) to pass on the

mixed signal e. g. to a second active speaker
system; the LINE OUT signal is not affected
by the control MASTER (2) but by the tone
controls (3)

Input LINE IN (RCA jacks) for connection of

an audio source with line signal level, e. g.
CD/MP3 player, tape deck, radio

Volume control for the input signal of the jack

LINE IN (6)

Input MIC IN (combined jack XLR

Indication for the rechargeable batteries

In case of battery mode

the charging status of the batteries is
shown. When the red LED flashes, the bat-
teries should be recharged.

In case of mains connection

the LEDs light up successively when
recharging the batteries. When the batter-
ies are fully recharged, the upper green
LED lights up.

10 Button VOICE PRIORITY with indicating LED

for the priority feature of the microphone:
When the button is pressed (LED lights up),
the volume of the remaining audio sources is
substantially attenuated when announce-
ments are made via the wireless transmitter
or the microphone connected.

11 Mains jack for connection to a mains socket

(230 V~ / 50 Hz) via the mains cable provided

[indication of the radio frequency when keep-
ing an arrow key (17) pressed]

13 Diversity* LED: shows red or green and thus

indicates which of the two internal reception
antennas A or B is active at present

ter is switched on and set to the channel of the
receiver

15 LED AF: lights up when receiving an audio

2 Safety Notes

The unit corresponds to all relevant directives of
the EU and is therefore marked with

.

It is essential to observe the following items:

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect
it against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tem-
perature range 0 – 40 °C).

Do not place any vessels filled with liquid, e. g.
a drinking glass, on the unit.

Do not set the unit into operation, and immedi-
ately disconnect the mains plug from the mains
socket 
1. if there is visible damage to the unit or to the

mains cable,

2. if a defect might have occurred after a drop

or similar accident,

3. if malfunctions occur.
The unit must in any case be repaired by
skilled personnel.

Never pull the mains cable to disconnect the
mains plug from the mains socket, always
seize the plug.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, never
use chemicals or water. 

No guarantee claims for the unit and no liabil-
ity for any resulting personal damage or mate-
rial damage will be accepted if the unit is used
for other purposes than originally intended, if it
is not correctly connected or operated, or not
repaired in an expert way.

If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful
to the environment.

ardous mains voltage. Leave serv-
icing to skilled personnel only.
Inexpert handling or modification
of the unit may cause an electric
shock hazard.
