1.1 Front side of the active speaker system

Power switch

Input jack MIC1 (6.3 mm jack, mono) for connect -
ing a microphone to be used instead of the wireless
microphone
(When the microphone is connected, the signal of
the wireless microphone will be muted.)

Volume control MIC1/W MIC for a microphone
 connected to the jack MIC1 (2) or – if

Reception LED; will light up when the wireless
microphone is switched on and set to the radio

 switch ed on or off; if it lights up during operation,
the batteries are almost exhausted

Safety Notes

The units (active speaker system and wireless micro-
phone) correspond to all required directives of the EU
and are therefore marked with 

.

Please observe the following items in any case:

G

Protect the units against dripping water and splash
water, high air humidity, and heat (admissible
ambient temperature range 0 – 40 °C).

G

Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the
active speaker system, e. g. a drinking glass.

G

Do not set the active speaker system into operation
when connected to the mains and immediately dis-
connect the mains plug from the socket 
1. in case of visible damage to the active speaker

system or to the mains cable,

2. if a defect might have occurred after the unit was

dropped or suffered a similar accident,

3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the unit must be repaired by skilled per-
sonnel.

A damaged mains cable must be replaced by skilled
personnel only. 

G

Never pull the mains cable for disconnecting the
mains plug from the socket, always seize the plug.

WARNING

The active speaker system is supplied
with hazardous mains voltage (230 V~).
Leave servicing to skilled personnel
only. Inexpert handling may cause an
electric shock hazard.
