Set channel

to specified output power (or
amplitude).
The output power is computed using a factory calibra-
tion, and has 14-bit resolution.
Requesting a value higher than the
limit set with the
LIMIT
command results in an error.
The following examples will generate approximately 250 mW output
power on
ARF421
devices:

Defines absolute maximum
RF
power for given channel

same syntax as the
POW
command.
This limit is applied within the
FPGA
to
prevent
damage
to
attached
components,
and
cannot
be
exceeded even by modulation.
If the limit is set below the current power level, the current power
is reduced to the limit.
The default limit is 27 dBm (about 500 mW)
for
ARF421/XRF421
models and 7 dBm (5mW) for unamplified units.
