Temperature Compensation
Ch 1
Temperature
Compensation:
+500
This screen allows you to use the 670 instrument to set the temperature compensation of a
bakeable transducer, such as the 315, 317, 615, 616, 617. The Types 310, 370, 390, 391, 398,
590, 690, 698 transducers do not need to have the temperature compensation changed. This
function corrects for gain changes on pressure transducers with user selectable temperatures.
Refer to your transducer manual for details.
The temperature compensation entry can range from 0 to 999. Use the [
CURSOR
] key and the
Adjust knob to change the value of the temperature compensation. Set the temperature
compensation entry to 500 if your transducer does not need the temperature compensation setting
adjusted.
Note
If you are using a Type 274 multiplexer: Place the
TEMP COMP
switch
on the 274 unit to the
OUT
position for each channel. This allows the
670 instrument (rather than the 274 unit) to control the temperature
compensation value. Refer to How To Interface to the Type 274
Multiplexer, page 69, for additional information.
