Troubleshooting Chart
Before continuing to use the troubleshooting chart, verify that all vacuum fittings are tight and
that the transducer is properly pumped down below its resolution. Low range absolute
transducers (100 mmHg and below) will be overranged at atmospheric pressure.
Does the SYS CHK (System Check) read
properly? The reading should be between
9.5 and 10.5 Volts.
Problem is in the

electronics, the cable, or the 670.
Perform Test A. Does it pass?

Perform Test B. Does it pass?
Problem is in the 670. Press the
CAL key, enter the F.S. screen, and
press ENTER. Does it work properly?
Problem is internal to the 670.
Call MKS to receive an ERA
number and return the unit.
