<Using the driver’s side power liftgate switch
or the close switch on the power liftgate>

The operation mode is in ON with the
selector lever in the “P” (PARK) position,
or the operation mode is in ACC or OFF.

The power liftgate is completely open.

Nothing is touching the auto reverse sen-
sors on the power liftgate.

After unlocking the doors and the power lift-
gate, the power liftgate can be operated by
pressing the switch (A) of the F.A.S.T.-key or
the driver’s side power liftgate switch (B).

<Using the F.A.S.T.-key>
If the power liftgate switch is pressed twice in
a row, the power liftgate operates after the
warning buzzer sounds and the hazard warn-
ing flasher blinks.
The power liftgate operates as follows:

If the power liftgate switch is pressed once
while the power liftgate is operating, the
warning buzzer sounds and the liftgate will
reverse and return to the full open or closed
position.

<Using the driver’s side power liftgate
switch>
If the driver’s side power liftgate switch is
pressed for more than 1 second, the power
liftgate will operate after the buzzer sounds
and the hazard warning flasher blinks.
The power liftgate operates as follows.

•While closed: The  warning buzzer sounds

and the power liftgate com-
pletely opens.

•While open: The warning buzzer sounds

and the power liftgate com-
pletely closes.

NOTE

If the power liftgate switch is pressed 3 or
more times in a row, the power liftgate may
not operate normally.
If this occurs, wait a short time before again
pressing the power liftgate switch twice.

•While closed: The warning buzzer sounds

and the power liftgate com-
pletely opens.

•While open: The warning buzzer sounds

and the power liftgate com-
pletely closes.
