Image
Auto
Automatically sets an optimal color balance based on the input signal. Use
this setting for most cases.
Theater
Makes projected images soft and smooth. Best suited for movies.
Presentation
Makes projected images bright and crisp.
Standard
Makes projected images look natural.
Black Board
Reproduces natural color tones when images are projected directly onto a
black board.
White Board
Reproduces natural color tones when images are projected directly onto a
white board.
User
Adjusts the gamma curve, color intensity, or balance. (See page 31.)
Brightness
±30
Adjusts the brightness of projected images. (See page 30.)
Contrast
±30
Adjusts the contrast of projected images. (See page 30.)
Color Temp.
4 options
Adjusts the color temperature. (See page 30.)
User
Use to adjust the color temperature to a desired value. (See page 30.)
Color Management

You can change to any desired color by adjusting each of Gain, Saturation
and Hue of six different colors. (See page 31.)
Aspect Ratio
Normal
Automatically sets the aspect ratio in relative to the input signal. Use this
setting for most cases.
16:9
Selects a desired screen position for anamorphically squeezed or horizontally
compressed images stored on DVD disks.
You can select from Center, Upper, and Lower by pressing the ENTER button.
Full
Select this setting when you want to project images in the full screen.

Switches the order of the image for left eye and for right eye.
• When the Gamma setting in the Image User menu is changed, images in the Black Board or White Board setting may not be
displayed correctly.
• When White Board is selected, BrilliantColor™ in the Image User menu cannot be used. Additionally, Theater in the Image User
menu has no effect and is automatically canceled when White Board is selected.
• You cannot adjust Color Temp. when Image is set to Black Board or White Board.
• When Image is switched, projected images may be distorted.
