2. Checking mis-wiring and serial signal error.

MSZ-A09RV -

MSZ-A12RV -

Outdoor unit does not operate. When the operation indicator lamp (on the left-hand side) flashes on and off continuously
or only once.

1. Turn OFF power supply.
2. Turn ON power supply.
3. Press the EMERGENCY OPERATION switch.

Is the self-check function of indoor unit indicated when relay 52C turns ON
3min. later?

Short circuit of JPS (one-hour short circuit jumber cable) and JPG (GND

resistance) enables self-check function to be indicated within 3 min.

Is there indoor-outdoor mis-wiring,
poor contact, or disconnection?

Is there approx. 220-240V AC between outdoor
terminal block

and

Is mis-wiring or
serial signal error
indicated when
relay 52C turns
ON 3 min. later?

Is there 370V DC between both ends of
smoothing capacitor(C62) on the electronic
control P.C. board?

Replace in-out connecting
wire.

Does Power monitor lamp (on the right-hand
side) flash on and off when OPERATE/STOP
button on remote controller is pressed?

2 Mis-wiring may damage the electronic

control P.C. board during the operation in
the left. Be sure to confirm the wiring is
correct before the operation starts.
