8.3.1 Outline of mechanical zero return operation
1. Types of mechanical zero return operation
The mechanical zero return method for the FX
3U
-1PG includes the following two variations.
• DOG type mechanical zero return
The position after stopping from the DOG signal with the zero signal of the servo amplifier becomes the
zero-point.

• Data-set type mechanical zero return
The position after moving with the JOG operation etc. is defined as the zero-point.
