6. How to remove the flow switch
(1) Remove the front panel. (Refer to Procedure 1.)
(2) Remove the control box cover. (Refer to Procedure 3.)
(3) Disconnect the CN2F connector on the controller board.

(4) Release the flow switch lead wire from the 3 cable
clamps, the cable strap, the fastener and the 2 coated
clamps and feed the lead wire out the control box
without putting strain on the CN2F connector. (Photo
6-1)
(5) Swing the control box to the front. (Refer to Procedure 4.)
(6) Remove the flow switch by removing the nut. (Photo 6-2)

When reinstalling the nut, use a new O-ring.

Note: To ensure the correct functioning of the flow switch,
check the following when installing it:
▪
The flow switch paddle is set perpendicularly to the
water flow. (Photos 6-2, 6-4)
▪
The lead wire of the flow switch points to the left-hand
side. (Photo 6-2)
▪
The lead wire runs parallel to the water pipe. (Figure 2)
