Installation of Cutting Blade (2700UK)
l
Insert the Allen wrench (24) into the hole at the gear case cover.
l
Rotate the output shaft until the Allen wrench slips into position and blocks the output shaft.
l
Remove the nut (25) from the output shaft by unscrewing the nut clockwise.
l
Align the hole (one in.) of the blade (26) with the holder A (27).
l
Fit the holder B (28) and the nut at the output shaft.
l
Tighten the nut by screwing it counterclockwise.
l
Remove the Allen wrench from the gear case cover.
Installation of Cutting Blade (3500UK, 4500UK, 5300UK)
l
Fit the holder A (1) at the output shaft and align the hole (one in.) of the blade (2) with the
holder A.
l
Fit the holder B (3), the disk (4) and the nut (5) at the output shaft.
l
Insert the Allen wrench (6) into the hole at the gear case cover.
l
Screw the nut counterclockwise onto the output shaft until the Allen wrench slips into position
and blocks the shaft.
l
Tighten down the nut securely.
l
Remove the Allen wrench from the gear case cover.
Installation of the Cover Assembly
WARNING
The cord cutter is sharp and can cause serious injury.
Be careful not to touch the cord cutter when installing cover assembly.
NOTE
○
Do not install the cover assembly when installing the cutting blade to the brushcutter.
Adjusting the Cutting Head
l
Position the brushcutter with the rotating cutting head horizontal above the ground and tap it
on the ground.
Engine speed is about 4,000 rpm.
NOTE
○
This cutting head is designed so that the string will not come out if the engine is running at a
speed above 4,000 rpm.
○
The cutter on guard assembly will trim surplus string to correct length.
Preparation
Fuel and oil
Type
:
The fuel is mixture of gasoline and oil. A
50 to 1
mixture is recommended (50 parts gasoline to
1 part oil). Mix it thoroughly before pouring it into the brushcutter fuel tank.
Recommended engine oil
: High quality 2-stroke air cooled engine oil
