Gear Case Lubrication Service
Remove the bolt (1).
l
Supply #1 class lithium grease into the gear case.
l
Install the bolt.
Storage
Brushcutter to be stored over 30 days should be completely drained of fuel to prevent gum
deposits forming on essential carburetor parts, fuel filter, and fuel tank.
l
Clean the engine, the guard assembly and the cutting head.
l
Remove all the fuel from the fuel tank and run the engine at idling to use up the fuel in the
carburetor.
l
Remove the spark plug, pour in 0.5 ml of new 2-stroke engine oil through the plug hole, pull
the recoil starter grip several times, and reinstall the spark plug.
l
Slowly pull the recoil starter grip until resistance is felt (until the piston is felt coming on its
compression stroke, i.e. both intake and exhaust ports have become closed by the piston).
l
Store the brushcutter in a clean and dry
place.
WARNING
