Contrast
The
Contrast Level
option on the IP phone allows you to set the amount of contrast on the LCD
display.
1.
Press

Press
to navigate to
User settings
and press to select the option.
3.
Enter your voicemail password and press
.
The
User Settings
menu is displayed.
4.
Navigate to the
Display > Contrast
option and press to select the option.
5.
Use
to increase or decrease the amount of contrast on the screen.
6.
Press
to save the setting.
Backlight
The
Backlight
option on the IP phone allows you to set the backlight status on the LCD display to
the following:
•
Off: Backlight is always off.
•
Auto (default): Automatically turns on the backlight when the phone is in use, and automat
-
ically turns off the backlight when the phone is idle for a specified length of time.

menu is displayed.

Navigate to the
Display > Backlight
option and press .

to save.
6.
Use
to navigate to Off or Auto.

Press to save the setting.
Restart
You may want to restart your phone to check for updates on the server, or you may occasionally
need to restart your phone for phone configuration changes or network settings to take effect. You
may also need to restart your phone if you have been asked to do so by your Mitel administrator or
if you experience any unexpected behavior.
