Name Function
1 Sub switch Provides some operations for media setting. ( P.1-9)
2 Right maintenance cover Equipped with a capping station and opened and closed during
maintenance.
3 Operation panel Provides operation for setup of the printer or displays operation
items by touching the panel. ( P.1-6)
4 Exhaust duct Exhausts the inside air of the printer.
5 Pilot lamp Lights in green at work and lights in red in emergency.
6 Power switch Turns on/off the power of the printer.
7 Water heater Keeps ink at appropriate temperature. ( P.3-8)
8 Waste ink tank Waste ink gathers in this tank.( P.3-7)
9 Level foot Pressed it down to fix the printer.( P.1-3)
10 UV lamp status indicator Indicates the UV lamp status. ( P.1-15)
Error/UV lamp OFF (red); cooling (orange); enabled (green)
11 Adjustment volume Adjusts the tension for media transport and vacuum/blow for
media.( P.1-9)
12 Take-up unit Rolls up the media.
13 Roll set bar Set a paper core in the center and lift the lever up to give
driving power to the paper core.

Bidirectional parallel interface connector.

IEEE1394 connector
A 400 M bps interface connector compatible with -IEEE.
16 Left maintenance cover Position for standby during printing. Equipped with a flushing tray
and opened and closed during maintenance.
17 Front maintenance cover Opened when setting media or correcting media jams. However,
to prevent the nozzles from clogging, keep the front cover closed
even if the power switch is OFF.
